At the annual aubergine competition in Almagro, a lonely farmer named Manolo presents a huge aubergine he grew in his garden. He is awarded the winner's medal. Manolo lives with his aubergine, happy with his success, but the enormous vegetable begins to wither. He will do everything he can to keep it alive.
