Valentina, 76, is a Russian cosmonaut summoned by the Cuban Space Confederation to an agricultural expedition to Mars through a letter that arrives 30 years late. Without noticing the date on the letter, she arrives in the textile town of Ariguanabo, Cuba, hoping to fulfill her dream of returning to space one last time.
