A woman who collects scrap metal finds a cylinder in the radiology room of an abandoned hospital. Not knowing what it is, she brings it home to her family. Everyone is thrilled with the find, believing that selling it will help them get by, but the situation worsens when the cylinder begins to change them from within; violence escalates as they fall ill from the radiation it gives off.
