The horror trailers the Super Bowl gave us

Every year, with the Super Bowl celebration, companies prepare their best previews, commercials, and trailers to be seen by the massive audience for this event, which generates great anticipation not only for the sporting matchup but for everything that happens around it.

The Super Bowl gave us three trailers (the Twilight Zone one is magnificent) for what's coming in the horror genre. If you missed them, here they are.

The Twilight Zone

CBS presented a clever trailer for the reboot ofThe Twilight Zone, in which the empty Mercedes-Benz Stadium is visited by just one figure at midfield — it's Jordan Peele, who will host the new era of the series. The unthinkable is what's expected, when the truth isn't true, what dimension are you really in?

The series returns to the screen in April 2019.

Us

After terrifying audiences on Christmas Day with the first Us trailer, Peele intrigues us even further with his second clip, which focuses on Lupita Nyong'o as the mother facing four sinister beings during a hellish beach vacation. The new trailer doesn't show additional scenes but sets the film's tone with the line: Watch yourself.

The premiere is scheduled for March.

Scary stories in the dark

This quartet of 15-second mini-trailers doesn't reveal much about the film produced by Guillermo del Toro, based on the book collection of the same name and directed by Andre Ovredal.

The film is set to premiere in August.
