#MacabroNocturno: Stories of Occultism and Witchcraft
This month, Macabro Nocturno presents two stories of witchcraft. Women who surrender to the practice of the dark arts and the power of the unknown. A classic of English cinema on the subject, and a short film by horror darling Gigi Saul Guerrero, in which she once again explores Mexican traditions through offerings to evil.

An English teacher embarks on a missionary trip to Africa, where she will have her first experience with the occult. Upon returning to England, she will gradually fall into the black magic circles that reside there.

A woman wakes up tied to an altar and is turned into a statue of Santa Muerte, because of the curse of two warlocks whose sole purpose is to summon the Antichrist.
Macabro Nocturno is a project by #MacabroFICH in partnership with La Casa del Cine Mx that presents, in a monthly screening, part of the festival's film archive dating back to its founding in 2002, running since February 2015.
