This month, Macabro Nocturno is graced by a classic of Italian horror cinema that was part of our line-up at Macabro XVIII, and a favorite — starting with its very name — of our festival:

Synopsis: When a British journalist tries to interview Edgar Allan Poe during the writer's visit to London, he ends up caught up in a curious wager. A nobleman named Lord Blackwood challenges him to spend that night at one of his properties: a supposedly haunted mansion.

Macabro Nocturno is a project by #MacabroFICH in partnership with La Casa del Cine Mx that has been presenting, in a monthly screening since February 2015, part of the festival's film archive and classics of horror cinema, going back to the festival's founding in 2002.
