News: #MacabroCoven announces its alliance with the Festival Final Girls Chile

With the aim of joining forces in the promotion and outreach of horror cinema created by women, Macabro forges an alliance with Final Girls Chile Film Fest, a recently created organization that shares goals with the Macabro Coven initiative.

"Following the success of Final Girls Berlin Film Fest, we are now expanding into Chile and Latin America as well, to showcase short and feature films — fiction, animation, and documentary — selected through an open call focused on Latin American cinema, while inviting women and dissidents from around the world to take part."

"Beyond screening films, we are driven to foster encounters between women filmmakers and genre-film audiences through panel discussions, talks, and workshops, among other training activities."

Macabro Coven is a new space from Macabro FICH to give visibility to the work of women directors, producers, screenwriters, actresses, technicians, promoters, managers, writers, and creatives working in the field of horror cinema.
