The Magic

The film traces a historical panorama of magic in the Americas, from the worship of pre-Hispanic gods and ritual dances to magic entwined with New York pornography and therapeutic sessions with marijuana and mushrooms. The documentary shows Aztec, Mayan, Incan, and Tehua ruins, as well as a ceremony in New York's Central Park.
