Macabróstica presenta: Paul Urkijo: Un recorrido por la mitología vasca

This anthology of short films by director Paul Urkijo—director of films such as Errementari, Irati (screened at Macabro 2022), and the opening film Gaua—is a showcase of the blend between fantasy, Basque folklore, and Basque mythology. It is a journey through the work of a director who will continue to be a major talking point.

DAR-DAR

Dar-dar is the demon of a Basque legend who feeds on fingers. And it goes like this: "Dar, dar, dar, give me your finger for dinner. If you don't give it to me, you'll see at night and pay with your soul."
