Stephen King’s The Shinning – 20 aniversario
Official edition: Macabro 2017
A television miniseries adapting the novel by Stephen King, already brought to the big screen by Stanley Kubrick in 1980. The nightmare begins when Jack Torrance accepts the position of caretaker for the winter, along with his wife and son, at the isolated and uninhabited Overlook Hotel, which carries with it a macabre history of violence. A place where Jack can begin his career as a writer and leave his tormented past behind. But Danny, Jack's son, possesses a psychic power called "the shining," and discovers that malevolent forces dwell in the hotel and have begun to exert their power. In-theater introduction and remarks by Sandra Becerril.
