The Dybbuk

The lives of two young people are bound together by a marriage pact made by their parents before they were even born, despite being warned by a mysterious traveler who advises them not to bind the lives of future generations. Shortly after, one of the fathers dies and the other's wife passes away in childbirth. The children grow up in different cities, unaware of their prenatal betrothal, until fate reunites them as adults: the young woman, Leah, engaged to another man, and Channon, son of the man who died, now a practitioner of sorcery who will stop at nothing to win her.
