Rosemary's Baby Celebrates 50 Years!
Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Today is a special day. Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby turns 50. One of the most iconic films in the horror genre, and possibly the best cinematic take on satanism, motherhood, and cults, it remains one of the most terrifying works in film history.
Based on the novel by Ira Levin, starring Mia Farrow and directed by a Polanski at the height of his powers, Rosemary's Baby remains one of the greatest works of psychological horror.
In honor of this hugely important and satanic anniversary, we're revisiting a documentary produced by Vice News as part of its "Conversations Inside The Criterion Collection" series, in which Roman Polanski, Mia Farrow, and producer Robert Evans discuss the creative process.
