#SesionesDelMacabro presents "Cassandra" by Mauricio Chernovetzky

Dear Macabrxs
Welcome to the sixth episode of Sesiones del Macabro, a virtual space created to bring us closer to horror's creators and their work. Every week we will publish in this space a short conversation and the presentation of a short film/feature film that has been part of Macabro's programme.
This week we bring you the conversation with Mauricio Chernovetzky, director and screenwriter, who presents his short film "Cassandra" in conversation with our director, Edna Campos. "Cassandra" is a film inspired by Greek mythology with references to directors such as Lynch and Bresson, among others. It was screened at the Strasbourg International Film Festival, the Morelia International Film Festival, and the San Diego Latino Film Festival. It was nominated for the Student Academy Award 2009, won the Special Jury Award at the Temecula International Festival 2009, and won the Silver Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival 2008.
This is the first time it has been presented in a Macabro space. Enjoy it!
