welcome to the third episode of Sesiones del Macabro, a virtual space created to bring us closer to horror creators and their work. Every week we'll publish in this space a short conversation and the screening of a short film or feature film that has been part of Macabro's programme.
This week we bring you the conversation that Macabro's director, Edna Campos, had with filmmaker and screenwriter Abraham Sánchez to present his mid-length film "Devastación," made with support from Macabro Lab and recently screened as part of UNAM's Aleph festival. Enjoy!

MACABRO FICH PRESENTS THE OFFICIAL PROGRAMMING FOR THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Bite-sized horror: The Macabro FICH 2026 short film selection
From August 12 to 23, the Mexican capital will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mexico City International Horror Film Festival, MACABRO. As with every edition, one of the most anticipated selections is the short films, which this year features over 60 national and international projects.
