Welcome to the tenth and final episode of the first season of Sesiones del Macabro, a virtual space created to bring us closer to horror's creators and their works. Each week we publish a short talk here along with the presentation of a short film/feature film that has been part of Macabro's programme.

This week we share the conversation our director Edna Campos had with Emilio Portes, one of the most outstanding directors in Mexican filmmaking today. In this talk, Emilio discusses his successful foray into horror cinema with his fourth feature film "Belzebuth," nominated for six Ariel Awards at the upcoming ceremony, his perspective on film exhibition in the context of the pandemic, and his upcoming move into series and streaming.
