#MacabroNocturno (4th anniversary) presents: Discopath
For the fourth anniversary of Macabro Nocturno, we're dusting off one of the most successful films from Edition XIII. In the 1970s New York scene, amid the roar of disco music, a psychopath is born.

The year is 1976, in New York City. Duane Lewis is a cook at a burger joint who falls into a literal trance whenever he hears disco music. The day he loses his job, he runs into a young skater at a park who, hoping to console him, invites him to a night out at the Seventh Heaven disco. Bombarded by the decibels, Duane slips into a trance that quickly spirals into homicidal mania.

Macabro Nocturno is a project by #MacabroFICH in partnership with La Casa del Cine Mx that has presented, in a monthly screening since February 2015, part of the festival's film archive dating back to its founding in 2002.
