Mexico Macabro Concludes Its Tour in Aguascalientes

The Mexico Macabro: 20 Years of Horror Cinema in Mexico tour wraps up its run alongside Verne Cinema in Aguascalientes. With two daily screenings from November 15 to 21, at venues including the new Verne Cinema screening room inside the Hotel Casa Alameda, the Teatro Antonio Leal y Romero, and La Puga. Centro Cultural los Arquitos, a lineup featuring the best of the cycle will be presented.

Mexico Macabro: 20 Years of Horror Cinema in Mexico is a retrospective comprising titles that were part of the programme of Macabro: Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México between 2008 and 2020.

The cycle began digitally on August 20, 2021, as part of the programme for the 20th edition of Macabro: Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México on Plataforma Cine, and after stops in Puebla, Morelos, Chihuahua, and Guanajuato, it concludes in the city of Aguascalientes

On Friday, November 12, director Emilio Portes will talk about his involvement in the cycle, and on Wednesday, November 17, director Laurette Flores will also speak about México Bárbaro. Both talks can be watched at 7 p.m. via https://www.facebook.com/vernecinema/ (abre en nueva pestaña)
