Macabro Halloween! Activities and Special Screenings for the Season

The happiest days of the year are approaching – aside from the festival dates in August, of course –, and this year at Macabro we have prepared a series of activities and screenings to celebrate this macabre and beautiful season.
- Macabro at Film Club Café
As every year, Macabro presents a selection of feature films and short film programs that were part of the official selection and the Macabro Coven program at Film Club Café. If you live in the northwest area of Mexico City or in the Satélite area, from October 26 to 31 stop by, grab a coffee, and have a muffin with ice cream while you watch one of our screenings.
Admission is free and the full program can be checked at http://www.filmclubcafe.com.mx/ (abre en nueva pestaña)

- Macabro at Cinemagic
For the first time, Macabro presents a showcase of the festival at the Ixtapaluca, Ixmiquilpan, and Matehuala complexes. On the 28th, 29th, and 30th you can enjoy films such as Apps, Bienvenidos al infierno, La lotería and others that were part of our official selection this year.

- Halloween Party at Casa del Cine
If on Saturday, October 29 you're torn between going out to party or putting together a horror movie marathon, stop agonizing and come on down to the “Cinematic Coven” our friends at Casa del Cine have put together. And of course, since it's Macabro Nocturno day, we have two unmissable classics: Re-Animator and From Beyond.
Party + screening: 200 pesos

- Rendez-Vous on Capital 21
If you'd rather stay home, tune in to Capital 21 in Mexico City to watch Rendez-Vous by Pablo Olmos at 10 p.m.

- Cinema Among the Graves
There's no better plan for Halloween than attending a screening of “Night of the Living Dead” in a cemetery. We'll be waiting for you at the Museo Panteón de San Fernando for the screening of Romero's classic. Spoiler alert: this time it will be among the graves.
Monday, October 31, 8:00 p.m.
