EXTREME SECTION
TR3SH: LA CONCHA DE SU MADRE - 2019 - Argentina - 75 min.
DIRECTION ALEJO RÉBORA
Mama Bruselas senses that something bad is going on with her children. Maybe it's the drugs, or maybe it's her maternal instinct — all she knows is that Ansio and Ana need her and she has no time to lose. Riding her speedy, nurse-powered wheelchair, the Bruselas matriarch sets out to find her children, and to do so she'll have to rediscover her past, moving through a psychopharmaceutical spiral of memories in a most unconventional way. How fragile is reality? Can the past be changed?
The streets of TR3SH fill up with drugs that are more dangerous, more destructive. With murkier, more unrestrained urban specimens, with fanaticism pushed to the extreme of science fiction; organ trafficking reaches new heights, old characters return hungry for gruesome revenge, and the action spills into a labyrinth within a labyrinth within a labyrinth… all to arrive — once again — at Gatrachele, who this time will make her masterstroke, revealing her darkest secrets.
In this controversial third installment of the boldest, most vertiginous, scatological, and controversial saga in underground cinema, all the loose ends come together and, just two days after it all began, an unprecedented epic ending looms on the horizon.
Cast: Pachi Laurino, Ignacio Bruno, Leticia Salorio, Isabel Rinaldi, and Victoria Sarchi
