Registration open to attend FANTASTIKA PITCHING FORUM 2025 (March 25-26, online) following the success of project submissions

• A forum co-organized in 2025 by entities from 4 countries

The 2025 edition of FANTASTIKA – Ibero-American Horror and Fantasy Co-production Forum can already be classified as a success. The call for project submissions, which closed on March 7, resulted in the receipt of 170 horror and fantasy projects, submitted from the co-organizing countries in alliance with a total of 13 countries represented.

In the days leading up to the event, the official website (abre en nueva pestaña) will announce the list of the 24 finalist projects and the 20 semifinalist projects, a broad and diverse selection of quality proposals that will highlight the health and scale of genre film production in the Ibero-American region. Information on all of them will be available on the intranet for attending professionals, accessible through registration.

FANTASTIKA PITCHING FORUM 2025 will take place on March 25-26 and is an online event designed for producers interested in developing Ibero-American co-productions, where 24 specially selected finalist projects will be presented. FANTASTIKA is the new brand and evolution of the Co-production Forum co-organized by the associations PAC (Spain) and APIMA (Argentina) since 2021, a gathering created by and for independent producers with the goal of building a network to share experience and knowledge, showcase projects, and generate Ibero-American horror and fantasy co-productions.

In this edition, the addition of Macabro FICH (Mexico) and FantasoLab (Colombia) to the organizing team not only increases the number of participating countries, production companies, and projects, but also opens an exciting new stage that aims for greater impact and influence as a professional space for the industry.

Another major highlight of this edition is the collaboration with Sitges, the Catalonia International Fantastic Film Festival, which will make it possible to organize several FANTASTIKA activities in October within the framework of this festival.

FANTASTIKA emerges from the need for spaces that contribute to and support a moment of great emergence of new talent, initiatives, and opportunities for genre cinema in the Ibero-American region, and of clear growth in its global impact, positioning itself as a home for its entire creative-producing community and acting as an agent for strengthening and expanding its market.
