About the filmmakers:
Phiippe Barassat
He is a film director and screenwriter. He made several short films before 2000: "Folle de ce Mec," "Mon Copain Rachid," "Transit," and "Les Éléphants de la Planète Mars," compiled on a DVD titled "Folle de Rachid en Transit sur Mars" (2001). Acclaimed by specialized critics, some of these films, such as "Mon Copain Rachid" and "Les Éléphants de la Planéte Mars," starring actress Arielle Dombasle, were shown all over the world. Barassat's work addresses different facets of sexuality and its perversions. Most of them are featured in "Nécrophile," his first feature film, broadcast on the Franco-German channel Arte. A longer version of this film exists and can be found on DVD. Other projects of his include "Lisa et le pilote d'avion," with Eric Cantona, Rachida Brakni, and Marilou Berry, and "Indésirables," with Jéremie Elkaïm, which addresses the sex lives of people with disabilities. He is currently working on the film "La rupture," about gerontophilic love.
Rémi Lange
Known in France for his film diaries made at the end of the 20th century, "Omelette" (1993-1998, which belongs to the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art and the Centre Georges Pompidou, as it is considered one of the best works in its genre) and "Les Yeux brouillés" (1999), Rémi is the author of thirteen films released on DVD, broadcast on television and at various film festivals around the world. Lange's filmography explores sexual diversity, especially homosexuality. His works are rich in characters and events. They almost always feature his favorite actors and actresses, who have helped build an underground culture and film industry in France. In 2017, Rémi co-wrote the screenplay for a popular comedy titled "Les plus grandes actrices du monde" with Philippe Barassat. He is currently finishing his seventh feature film, "L'ŒUF DURE," which will be released this year.
