El muerto cuenta su historia is one of the most recent films by Fabián Forte, one of the most active directors in the great genre cinema movement in Argentina and Latin America over the past 15 years, and winner of the award for best Latin American director at Macabro's XVI edition, where he presented Mala carne (2003) and Malditos sean (2011).
