A horror thriller inspired by the films of Brian de Palma, Dario Argento, and Mario Bava, in which the victim, the killer, and the investigator have much in common. It's an intriguing exercise in style, in which the weight of the story rests on a single actress.

The famous story created by H.P. Lovecraft, which introduces the monster Cthulhu and encapsulates the ideas that permeated the Cthulhu Mythos, its nihilism, and its cosmic perspective, is adapted into the silent, expressionist aesthetic of the 1920s. The narrative structure is divided into three parts, with flashbacks and flashforwards spanning from the 1920s to 1870 and back.

Synopsis: This splatter film, a blend of science fiction and horror in its most aggressive form, about alien parasites that turn humans into their slaves, the "Necroborgs," combines a technological universe with an obsession for new flesh and the clear influence of cyberpunk master Shinya Tsukamoto.

MACABRO FICH PRESENTS THE OFFICIAL PROGRAMMING FOR THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY
