Don Juan Manuel Solórzano sold his soul to the devil in order to find out who his wife was cheating on him with. The devil told him to go out at 11 o'clock at night and kill the first person who passed by his house, and so he did. Unfortunately, it turned out that the person he killed was not the one he was looking for. Don Juan Manuel went out every night to kill, asking his victim for the time, and when they answered "Eleven o'clock at night," he would stab them while saying, "Lucky you, knowing the hour at which you die."
After committing several murders, guilt overwhelmed Don Juan Manuel (it's said he even killed one of his own nephews, who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time). He confessed to his local priest, who gave him the penance of praying the rosary beneath the gallows at midnight, until his body was found hanging in the early hours of the third day.
Be very careful, for it is well known that Don Juan Manuel still stands outside his house at 11 o'clock at night and asks some unfortunate passerby for the time…
If you want to experience quite a thrill, this is undoubtedly your chance.
By the way, there is a plaque at the site attesting to the existence of Don Juan Manuel and confirming that the house was indeed his property.
