Pedro Rivero
Hace algunos años, aproximadamente ocho o nueve según recuerdo, llegó por Filmfreeway una película animada que emanaba mucha oscuridad y desesperanza: Psiconautas, los niños olvidados. Después de revisarla, decidí que la película debía formar parte de la programación de Macabro ese año, el mismo en que nos visitaron Xabier Uria e Iñigo Portillo, del festival Caostica de Bilbao. Ambos conocían muy bien a Pedro Rivero y gracias a ellos llegó el video en el que vi por primera vez a Pedro, quien agradecía el premio obtenido mientras unos pajaritos volaban entrando y saliendo de su cabeza. Posteriormente pude encontrarme en persona con Pedro en dos ocasiones y le prometí invitarlo a Macabro.

Un honor tenerlo como invitado y homenajeado este año. La promesa se cumplió.
A few years ago, probably eight or nine as I remember, an animated film that exuded a lot of darkness and hopelessness arrived on Filmfreeway: Psiconautas, los niños olvidados. After reviewing it, I decided that the film should be part of the Macabro program that year, the same year that Xabier Uria and Iñigo Portillo, from the Caostica festival in Bilbao, joined us. They both knew Pedro Rivero very well and thanks to them came the video in which I saw Pedro for the first time, grateful for the prize he had obtained while some little birds flew in and out of his head. Later I was able to meet Pedro in person in two occasions and I promised to invite him to Macabro.

La crisis carnívora

Sinopsis: Gracias al Pacto Vegetariano, todos los animales conviven en paz y armonía. Todos menos uno: la hiena Crevel, que vive con la angustiosa sensación de no volver a comer carne.
Decidido a calmar su apetito, una noche Crevel acude al cementerio dispuesto a devorar los cadáveres, pero no puede hacerlo: ¡no hay ninguno! El león Pérsicus y su consigliere, el tigre Altaicus, han organizado toda una red alimenticia con los difuntos para mantener sus hábitos carnívoros. Al ser descubiertos, acusan a Crevel de la brutal profanación, obligándole a huir de la ira de los herbívoros. Pero Crevel regresará del exilio con un plan para derrocar a los felinos.
Oculto bajo el disfraz del jabalí Willy, propone a los herbívoros una gran alianza para tomar el poder, valiéndose del recuerdo de un héroe legendario que se enfrentó en su día al consigliere Altaicus: el lobo Wolfeimer.
Synopsis: Thanks to the Vegetarian Pact, all animals coexist in peace and harmony. All except one: the hyena Crevel, who lives with the anguishing sensation of never eating meat again. Determined to calm his appetite, one night Crevel goes to the cemetery ready to devour the
corpses, but he can't do it: there are none! The lion Persicus and his consigliere, the tiger Altaicus, have organized an entire food network with the deceased to maintain their carnivorous habits. When discovered, they accuse Crevel of the brutal desecration, forcing him to flee the wrath of the herbivores. But Crevel will return from exile with a plan to overthrow the felines. Hidden under the guise of the wild boar Willy, he proposes to the herbivores a great alliance to
take power, using the memory of a legendary hero who once faced the consigliere Altaicus: the wolf Wolfeimer.
