HOTEL MACABRO: MEET THE WINNERS OF THE 2025 EDITION

Six categories were judged in the official program of MACABRO 2025
Experts from various disciplines related to film, along with the public, were the ones who decided this year's winners

August 31, 2025. Another edition of the Mexico City International Horror Film Festival, MACABRO, has come to an end, with more than a hundred feature and short films screened across different categories, drawing thousands of horror film enthusiasts.

The winners were evaluated by a group of experts connected to the film industry across various categories, and, as is now customary, the public also had a say in choosing their favorite film.

Without further ado, the jury has handed down its final verdict, and below we present the list of winners — congratulations to all of them.
