#MacabroNocturno presents: Freddy Eddy
To commemorate International Women's Day, this Macabro Nocturno is dedicated to the debut feature by German director Tini Tüllman, who joined us for the festival's 2017 edition to present this film about doppelgängers and psychopathic personalities.

Freddy is in the midst of an existential crisis after his wife accuses him of abuse. As his world collapses, his childhood imaginary friend, Eddy, reappears. At first he becomes a great comfort, until Eddy begins to take control and commits the worst atrocities around him.

Macabro Nocturno is a project of #MacabroFICH in partnership with La Casa del Cine Mx, which has held a monthly screening since February 2015, showcasing part of the festival's film archive dating back to its founding in 2002.
