As a screenwriter, he also stood out for having written films such as Maniac Cop in collaboration with another great, William Lustig. He also wrote the thriller Última llamada (Phone booth) starring Colin Farell and directed by Joel Schumacher; Cellular with Kim Bassinger, and the version of Secuestradores de Cuerpos (Body Snatchers) directed by Abel Ferrara.
Among his last works is his segment for the series Masters of horror, with Pick me up.
Larry Cohen began his career selling television scripts at the age of 17. Among his most outstanding works are the series The Fugitive and The Defenders. He continued writing for television series until he shot his first film, Bone.
Cohen's work has been described by his colleagues as fun, wild, provocative, and twisted, and he will be remembered as a true guerrilla of independent cinema.
