#TurismoMacabro: The Designer’s House

Today we head to the Centro Histórico of Mexico City, behind the "Veracruz" church, with its back to the Alameda Central, where "La Casa del Diseñador" (The Designer's House) is located.
Before it went by this name, it was "La Casa de Requena" (the Requena House), which was torn down in 2005; even before that happened, and still today, people say you can hear the wails of a Mazahua family who once lived there, though their story remains unknown.
Others claim it was the very spirits who brought the house down, while some say these are nothing more than legends made up by the Mazahua people themselves to keep others from settling on their land.
Why is it called the Designer's House? That's something that still can't be revealed.
If you're in the area, track down the spot where the house once stood; if you can, bring along a psychic you trust—with luck, you'll make contact with some spirit who lives there, and you'll like its story, one you'll have to share with all the Macabro addicts out there.
Meanwhile… we keep exploring more of Mexico City's dark corners.
